Welcome: A Note From the Author

Of course there are no cats allowed. That's just a given right?  Then why do you see so many of them in model building videos and photos? How do you keep the hair out? How do you keep the paw prints off the finish? How do you keep them from batting off all the little pieces into the carpet, only to find out you are missing a piece at the end of the build?

All of these questions and many more will be explored here on the No Cats Allowed Model Building website. Some of the other topics you may or may not see investigated on here are; Why are model builders so handsome and eye pleasing to the opposite sex? How do model builders perfect their muscular physique, and maintain trim waistlines? What is it about model builders that make them the life of the party, and how is it they can excel in all aspects of life? Are the rumors true that model builders were worshiped deities in ancient Rome? And did Nostradamus accurately predict the release of the Tamiya P-51 Mustang in 1/32 scale?

Lets face it, model building is as cool as it gets, and the builders themselves are as bad ass as they come. There is no getting around the fact that women yearn for us, other men want to be like us, and children aspire to achieve the greatness we have attained.

Here at No Cats Allowed, we are taking a fresh approach to the art and hobby of model building. In the near future you can expect a lot of the following.
  • Build logs from the author and special invited guests
  • Interviews from  your favorite builders
  • Podcasts
  • Reviews of Kits and any other thing I can think of in the scale modelling world
  • Handsome photos of the author and his pets
  • Live streaming from the workbench
  • Videos blogs, builds, the author golfing, his cute neighbor, and the homeless man that picks through his trash every week
  • Articles
  • Cool photos from airshows, museums, walk-arounds, Christmas trees, and carnival ride operators.
The list surely doesn't end their, but at this point in time, it's all I can think of.

I hope you enjoy what you read and hear on the No Cats Allowed blog, and I think you in advance for checking us out.
